Being a journalist of one of the American newspaper, I know very well the importance of news. Of course, we talk about unbiased and professional manner of writing the news. Let me introduce myself, I am Gaethan Jongerau, I'm an author and columnist in the local newspaper. For me as person who works in media, information is the currency I use to help my audience. Nowadays, in the era of digital info, the people are just bombarded by information through social media and other sources. It is so called informational noise, and it's not news as itself. Being lived in this ‘info noise’, more and more people say they don't need real news. But I am prefer to take a personal responsibility for informing myself, that's why I choose reliable source of information, e.g. leads on Russian and other world I read on site http://rsute.ru/. The right choice of the informational resource(s) is a cornerstone of your ability to understand the situation around you and to keep your mind as clear as possible. The clear mind is an extremely important thing because it gives us ability: i) to think out every our thought, and ii) to make the right conclusion. I suggest, the choice to remain UNINFORMED may bring a damaging effect, not just on the media industry, but on society. But the journalism should be fair, balanced, accurate, and complete, I believe.
