Grace has an extensive career in teaching English as an academic language. She has successfully written, co-ordinated, taught and advised on a range of discipline-specific programmes for both undergraduates and postgraduates. She has worked with students studying in various faculties, namely Business Administration, Information Technology, Science, Engineering,Communications and Humanities. Grace has worked as a university lecturer in the United Kingdom, Australia and Singapore.
She is especially interested in student academic and personal development, a holistic approach to teaching and learning in higher education, intercultural communication skills for professional and tertiary environments, the integration of graduate attributes and life-long learning skills within the curriculum. Her research interests are Jungian and depth psychology, theology/spirituality, humanistic elements in philosophy and English literature, classical astrology and film analysis.
Grace is bilingual with an academic knowledge of both English and Mandarin Chinese.
