I have taught Latvian and Estonian language courses at SSEES and at an international school since 2007. I studied Baltic linguistics for my M.Phil. at SSEES as well. I'm interested in all aspects of language teaching, especially the languages of eastern and northern Europe. Originally from Australia, I've lived in the UK for nearly thirty years, most of that time working as a translator and journalist for the BBC World Service. I'm a founder member of the Foundation for Endangered Languages and have edited two language atlases.
