Show Me Standard

• Performance Standard
• Goal 2 -- Students in Missouri public schools will acquire the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively within and beyond the classroom.
• Knowledge Standard
• In Communication Arts, students in Missouri public schools will acquire a solid foundation which includes knowledge of and proficiency in identifying and evaluating relationships between language and culture.

• The learner will be able to distinguish vowel sounds.
• The learner will be able to distinguish consonant sounds.
• The learner will be able to imitate vowel sounds as they are used in the Spanish language.
• The learner will be able to speak the Spanish alphabet with proper articulation of consonants.
• The learner will be able to utilize pronunciation rules.
